NOCAZ 2017 will be held at the New Orleans Main Branch Library on November 18th and 19th.
You are signing up for the NOCAZ 2017 Waitlist. Priority will be given to exhibitors who signed up during open registration, but space permitting, we will try to get as many people from the waitlist behind tables. Thanks for understanding.

NOCAZ is not an explicitly political event. But we want you to know that we are creating a space that supports people and movements that are resisting oppression and injustice in this world. We also want to foster an environment that portrays race, gender, class, and variety of heritage as a positive thing! Please don't bring any racism, classicism, sexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, shame, or judgement into our space!

We also love satire, and cynical humor and understand that there is a very blurry line that defines those things. So if you aren't sure if your content has crossed the line, just ask us!

NOCAZ is a comic and zine event. While we encourage our tablers to bring prints, patches, pins, etc to supplement their comics and zines, please do not apply if you are not selling comics and/or zines! There are a plethora of print, art, and craft events in this city that are wonderful, and you should table at those. No shade, we're just about the books!

Once we have reviewed all of the applications (sometime in early August), we will send out exhibitor confirmations and table fee requests. You are not confirmed to exhibit at NOCAZ 2017 until you receive a confirmation email from an organizer.

Table FEES:

We provide tables free of charge to residents of Louisiana, Mississippi, & Alabama. There is a 15-30 dollar sliding scale table fee for accepted exhibitors not from those states. NOCAZ runs on a tight budget and all of the organizers are volunteers, so if you can afford to pay $30, please do. If you are local to the deep south and find yourself able to chip in (again, not at all required), please feel free to smash that donate button at the top of the page!

NOCAZ FEST provides free tables to all Louisiana, Mississippi, & Alabama residents because we feel that it is vitally important to provide an accessible arts event to our neighbors in the deep South. If you are in need of financial support, please feel free to check the "Yes" box in the scholarship portion of the form.

TUMBLR, deviantart, and official portfolios welcome! This will go next to your name on exhibitor promotional material.
Just a short description (about three or four sentences), include a description of what you'll be exhibiting.
If for whatever reason you are not capable of linking us to your work, please let us know in the box below. If you are capable, please get your work online and link it here. We are all volunteers with limited time, and having to sift through emails, etc when reviewing applications is very time consuming.

What size table are you reqeusting? *
Space is limited, and we prefer that folks stick to a half table (3ft). If you need a whole table (6ft), please let us know. We can't guarantee that we can grant your request, but we will try!
We won't be able to grant every full table request- so please give us a little info on why your material needs a full table! For example: "My comics are two feet wide" or "I plan on lying on the table as a performance piece" (we might not grant you that one)
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, need special parking, wheelchair access, etc. Anything we would need to know to make sure that YOU are takin care of and have a great time at NOCAZ 2017.
Do you need a scholarship?
We try to provide a couple scholarships to TRAVELING artists and zinesters! Priority will be given to creators that are underrepresented in traditional publishing. Please do not check "yes" if you are local to New Orleans
Give us a little bit of information about why a scholarship would be useful for you. The amount of money that we will be able to provide for our scholarships in 2017 is still TBA, but we will let our scholarship applicants know ASAP when these details are more concrete. In the past we've been able to award between 100-200 dollars to 2 or 3 applicants.
